Citing an eBook?

Cite an eBook as you would for a comparable printed work and end it with the name of the platform you used to read the book (i.e. Overdrive e-book)

(Do not use paging because it will not appear consistently to all users.  If the work is divided into stable numbered sections like chapters, the numbers of those sections may be cited, i.e. Bowman, ch. 1)

Cite an iBook as you would for a comparable printed work, and end it with the designation Apple i-bookDo not attempt to locate or create any additional information.  If all you are given is author and title, that is all you cite.
